For Michelin-star chef René Mammen, I created a portrait series shot inside and around his restaurant Substans — capturing his presence, focus and dedication to the craft.
The aim was to build a visual universe where light, texture and atmosphere tell the story of his approach to gastronomy: simple, uncompromising and deeply personal.
The images move between intimate details and quiet observations of daily life in the kitchen, offering an honest glimpse into the person behind the Michelin stars.
